Overview
Reviewing sleep across a week gives a better picture than a single night. This tool shows the average, range and number of short nights, but it does not diagnose insomnia or sleep apnea.
Formula
Recorded nights are summed and divided by their count. Empty nights are not included.
How it works
Record each night
Estimate actual sleep, not just time in bed.
Leave unknown nights at zero
They are excluded from the average rather than distorting it.
Review the trend
Compare several weeks rather than one day.
